## Before you start

Before disconnecting a channel, make sure you have **admin access to your Flownally workspace**.

> **Important:** Disconnecting a channel **will stop all automated chatbots and journeys** linked to that specific platform instantly.

## How to disconnect a channel

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Channels** tab.

3. Hover over a channel.

4. Click on the **Disconnect** icon to the right of the channel.

## What happens after disconnecting a channel?

After disconnecting a channel, new messages from that platform will no longer appear in your Flownally shared inbox. Active chatbots linked to this channel will stop responding to customers immediately.

## Troubleshooting

### Disconnect icon does not appear

Sometimes browser cache can get delayed. Fix this by clearing your browser cache and reloading the page.

### Channel is still listed after disconnection

This can happen, when a server has temporary synchronization lag. Refresh your browser window to see the updated status.
