## How to rename a custom field

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Settings** tab.
3. Go to the **Custom fields** section.

4. **Click on a custom field**
5. Type new name of the custom field.
6. Click on the **Save changes** button.

## What happens after renaming a custom field?

After renaming a custom field, the new title updates across your workspace instantly. All contact profiles and property views will display the updated field name right away.

## Troubleshooting

### Field reverts to its old name after saving

This happens because of a brief network connection drop. You must wait a few seconds and type the name again.

### Field is unclickable

This is caused by a temporary browser interface stall. You need to refresh your dashboard page to make it responsive.
