# How do I delete a team?

This article explains how to **delete a team from your workspace**. Follow these steps to completely remove a group profile from your settings. This clears out old or inactive departments.

## Before you start

Before deleting a team, make sure you have:
- **Admin access to your Flownally workspace**.
- A team that you no longer need in your account.

> **Important:** You must remove all members from the team roster first, or the system will hide or block the delete button.

## How to delete a team

1. Log in to your Flownally workspace.
2. Go to the **Team** tab.
3. Go to the **Teams** section.

4. **Click on a team**.
5. **Remove all team members** first.
6. Click on the **Delete team** button.

7. Confirm by clicking on the **Delete team** button.

## What happens after deleting a team?

After deleting a team, the group profile is permanently removed from your workspace list. Any communication channels previously tied to this team will lose their routing rules immediately.

## Troubleshooting

### Delete team button is greyed out

It's because the group still contains active members. You must remove every person from the roster first to reveal the button.

### Team is still listed after deletion

This can happen due to a temporary browser storage cache lag. To fix this you need to clear your browser cache and refresh the dashboard.
